What is Rimrock Free Trappers

The purposes of this organization is to preserve our nation’s rich historical heritage by promoting interest and understanding of American life between the years of 1670 and 1840; with specific emphasis on the fur trade; preserving the skills of our first settlers, pioneers, Indians and mountaineers and trappers in their use of muzzle loading firearms, bows and arrows and the equipment and accouterments that accompanied such use through recreational, educational, historical and cultural venues such as competition, safety and historical demonstrations.
